Remodel Time

I stopped by the house and wow - the constructions guys are going at it hard.  It is going to be so cool, we are adding a new bedroom and bath.  Since the house is May’s house, I had asked her back last year how long she wanted me to stay.  She basically said as long as I wanted.  I felt bad - I mean this is her house - and I am totally in the way.  Of course she does not see it that way…

So we made a deal - at first she though I was totally crazy but it makes sense to me.  I will pay for the addition as a thank you to her.  So when we are done, she will have a proper Master bedroom with a closet and bath, and then her room becomes a guest room.  Plus we are adding a small walk-in closet near my room.  The overall costs are not that bad but most of all, it builds a huge value to the hosue.  It will be nice to have a guest room, just so people have space.  PLUS for me, it is a way to really thank May for letting me live here.  I really would have lost it last year without her. 

I do have to say, May is a little nervous.  She is not use to guys running around the house - I point out that they are outside!  lol - and one of them is super cute!
